Who we are

The address of our website is: https://www.heemkringkinrooi.be.

Remarks

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymised string made from your e-mail address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

When uploading images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract all location data of images on the website.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set some cookies to store your login details and screen choices. Login cookies are stored for two days and screen selection cookies for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your registration will be kept for a fortnight. When you log out of your account, the login cookies are deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and merely indicates the post ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content of other websites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and track your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

With whom we share your data

If you submit a request to reset your password, your IP address will be listed in the reset e-mail.

How long do we keep your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and the metadata are stored indefinitely. This way, we can automatically recognise and approve any follow-up comments, instead of keeping them in a queue for moderation.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user name). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

What rights do you have to your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including the data you have provided us with. You can also ask us to delete the personal data we have on you. This does not apply to data that we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Comments from visitors may be checked by an automated spam control service.
